Position- Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will be the key person, responsible for multiple smart metering projects for all projects stages. You coordinate the work for the team of (Lead) Local Project manager, System Analysts, Application Support, Field executives.

Roles and responsibilities

After a thorough training and familiarization period, you will be given the following responsibilities.

  • Take full ownership of customer-related issues and drives them to completion with internal and external suppliers and team members.
  • Maintaining technical-commercial relationships with customers in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
  • Set customer expectations to assure a smooth project including acceptance of project deliveries and timely payment even under challenging circumstances.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail while adhering to business processes for project execution
  • Coordinating all operational activities related to the realization of the project.
  • Accessible outside of regular working hours for issue resolution and response
  • Drive all activities on assigned projects/services and reports to management on status.
  • Monitoring the budgets (cost price monitoring, profitability monitoring and guarantees).
  • Report status/ progress to the customer and others with appropriate detail and raises potential project issues to relevant stakeholders early.
  • The planning and follow-up of the work to ensure the desired deadline.
  • The project documentation: making all documentation and technical specifications available to the parties involved and following up on correct compliance.
  • Work actively with Supply Chain Management for timely material supplies, ensure project transportation and logistics until dispatch of material.
  • Gain clear agreement and commitment from others by persuading, convincing, and negotiating; Manages conflict.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, proactively pursues a decided-upon mitigation approach.
  • Managing and motivating a project team, composed of Local Project managers, System Analysts, Application Support, Field executives.
  • Embody safety and integrity, taking personal responsibility for actions and demonstrating care for colleagues and the business.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in one or combination of the following disciplines: Project Management; Field Service; Project Engineering; Customer support in energy sector.
  • Must have proven accomplishments.

Minimum Qualification:

Technical education (preferably in electrical/energy engineering)
