Kimbal Strengthens Global Energy Partnerships Through Strategic Industry Dialogue

Kimbal recently welcomed a diverse group of global energy leaders and stakeholders to its Manufacturing Plant in Greater Noida, creating opportunities to exchange perspectives, showcase our capabilities, and explore avenues for collaboration across international markets.

We were pleased to host Michelle Wade, Commissioner – South Asia, Global Victoria, for conversations around Australia’s energy transition and opportunities for stronger collaboration between Australian and Indian businesses and educational institutions. The discussions also explored Kimbal’s potential to contribute to Australia’s evolving energy landscape with our smart metering and grid solutions.

We also welcomed Chadi Iskandar and Dr. Nader Abou-Dagga from Alfanar, Saudi Arabia. The visit brought together former GE Vernova colleagues and opened conversations on how Kimbal and Alfanar can build on their complementary strengths to support the global energy transition across India, Saudi Arabia and beyond.

From Bhutan, we hosted Mr. Sonam Tobjey, CEO, Bhutan Power Corporation Limited; Ms. Dechen Dema, Director, Bhutan Power Corporation Limited; and Mr. Karma Sangay, Electrical Engineer, Department of Energy, Ministry of Energy & Natural Resources, Bhutan. The interaction focused on energy engineering, advanced metering and digital technologies, alongside a closer look at Kimbal’s manufacturing capabilities and processes.

We were also honoured to welcome Hon. Minister Mr. Niyagama Gamage Anurakarunathilake, Minister of Energy, Sri Lanka, along with representatives from the High Commission of India in Colombo, the Ministry of Energy, Sri Lanka, and CII. The discussions explored Sri Lanka’s evolving energy landscape, including renewable energy, grid modernisation and long-term energy security, while identifying opportunities for India-Sri Lanka collaboration.

Across these engagements, a common theme emerged: the future of energy will be shaped by stronger cross-border collaboration, technology, engineering and shared expertise. As Kimbal continues to expand its global footprint, we look forward to building partnerships that create long-term value and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
